Summer Academy will be held from July 1, 2025 to July 31, 2025, with a format of online learning throughout July with face-to-face support from July 7, 2025 - July 31, 2025. The Summer School Academy and Credit Recovery Director will oversee logistics of face-to-face and virtual programming during the Summer Academy, assist with student related issues, oversee parent communication processes, coordinate any necessary purchasing related to the program, ensure that all appropriate student data is housed in PowerSchool upon student completion of credits, oversee issues related to logistics of utilizing the Acellus platform, and other duties as assigned.
Academy Dates and Times:
Enrollment for Summer Academy is June 23, 2025 - June 25, 2025
July 7, 2025 - July 31, 2025 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. is the face-to-face lab hours for students.
Location: Traverse City High School
Entire Schedule and Pay:
- Prior to July 7 - additional time will be provided for logistics and preparation
- July 7 - July 31 - Summer Academy (students present 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 16 days @ 4 hours per day (64 total hours)
- After July 31 - additional time will be provided for logistics related to closing Summer Academy
Required Credential:
Valid Michigan Teaching Certification; Michigan Administrator Certification preferred.
