Summer Academy will be held from June 17th through July 18th, 2024.  Based on enrollment, classes will be a mix of in person and asynchronous learning, with some classes being held on the Brightspace learning management system .  Summer Academy teachers will instruct and support students that need to recover credit as well as earning original credit. Staff will also communicate with caseload teachers, administration, and parents. 

Academy Dates and Times:

June 17, 2024 - July 18, 2024 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

No classes the week of July 1, 2024

Location: TBD

Schedule and Pay:

• June - $30/hour
• July - $33/hour
• Prior to June 17 - additional time will be provided for logistics and preparation
• June 17 - July 18 - Summer Academy (students present 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 16 days @ 4 hours per day (64 total hours)
• After July 18 - additional time will be provided for logistics related to closing Summer Academy

Required Credential: 

Secondary Teaching Certificate in English Language Arts (BA) or Language Arts (BX)
